OVERVIEW SECOND LIVE
INTRODUCTION
The word "metaverse" is used to refer to a collective virtual universe made up of several virtual worlds, augmented reality scenarios, and virtual reality environments. Users can engage in seamless, immersive interactions with each other and digital information in this virtual environment.
Virtual reality (VR) is a technology that employs headgear or other gadgets to create an entirely synthetic digital environment that replicates the actual world or an entirely fictional universe. In the virtual world, users may move about and interact with both people and items, frequently using specialized controllers or other input devices. The purpose of virtual reality (VR) is to produce an immersive, lifelike experience that makes you feel like you are truly there.
WHAT IS SECONDLIVE?
SecondLive is a Metaverse project in which Binance Labs has invested. With the goal of bringing an open Metaverse to the BNB Chain community.
Despite being only a year old (August 2021) and having thousands of active users, SecondLive has over a million registered users.
You can create identities and personalities to represent yourself when participating in SecondLive’s metaverse and living in the virtual reality environment. You can also pick a place to reside, purchase a virtual property like an island, and rent a penthouse called Personal Space. You can complete various tasks to get Bean here, then spend Bean staking to get LIVE tokens.
In addition to personal space, there are areas like art spaces and brand spaces where you can express your creativity and have fun before the creator sells their products and design concepts.
Users can easily engage socially, exchange Spaces, and participate in virtual reality events using SecondLive’s Spaces, allowing them to live a second parallel life there.
The $1 billion Growth Fund has allocated its first allocation to the SecondLive project. SecondLive has enabled a Metaverse, and we intend to promote it more because we believe in the long-term potential of Metaverse projects.
THE OPERATIONAL MODEL OF SECONDLIVE
- Numerous Virtual Spaces (Space): After developing your virtual avatar, you can see your virtual character appear in the SecondLive main lobby and games, concerts, seminars, shopping centers, and other Spaces.
- SecondLive Market Place: You can exchange digital assets (in the form of NFT) using SecondLive Marketplace (NFT marketplace).
Using the SecondLive Market, an NFT trading platform developed by SecondLive Metaverse, you can exchange any virtual goods developed using the SecondLive protocol, including virtual spaces, avatars, character costumes (clothing, shoes, hair, jewelry), pets, and more. - Avatar: With the Avatar Editor, you can create a character from scratch and set it up as your avatar in the Metaverse. You can even select clothing or buy it.
The characters in SecondLive are created using a cross-platform 3D modeling system called VRM that is based on 3D human bone design. The outfits and accessories with your SecondLive avatar (Avatar) can be changed to ones of your design. - SecondLive Chat Support:
SecondLive supports both public and live chat. You can upload and import various Media and photos to SecondLive to make the chat more engaging. - SNS: SNS is a protocol used in the SecondLive Metaverse that enables you to establish "Follow" connections with people who have like-minded interests and hobbies. These connections can be further classified.
- Creator Feature:
The creator feature of SecondLive gives you access to simple-to-use tools for creativity.
Without any prior knowledge of code, you can directly generate content. You can make small games (like riddles) and costumes in the metaverse.
