Do you believe in coincidences?

I think one of the weirdest things that happened to me about seven years ago when I was a teen for some reason I was curious and wanted to know if the devil was real so I said to myself out loud, "Devil if you are real, prove it by killing my cat." Now I know that's a very stupid thing to say and honestly, I don't why I said that. That same night I woke up to get water from the kitchen and as I got up, I jumped off the top bunk bed and I stepped on my cat's stomach and he later died. I was shocked and sad. Now I'm more careful about what I say.
