Crypto Twitter reacts as Russian gov’t reviews finalized crypto bill

Russia's Ministry of Finance (MINFIN) has finalized a draft bill on digital currency and sent it to the Russian government for approval to be passed into law. The draft federal law clarifies the rules regarding trading and mining of cryptocurrencies.

On April 8, the Russian Ministry of Finance announced the amendment and finalization of an upcoming crypto bill, which provides regulatory clarification regarding circulation, issue, trading, mining and other activities in the crypto market.

When Russia released an unsubstantiated report on the legalization of the cryptocurrency in early April 16, the rich crypto community on Twitter welcomed the announcement with the opening of arms.
