So far so good! My little greenhouse doesn't have a source of heat except what it gets during the day from the sun, so the fact that the seeds I planted in October are doing so well is really encouraging. I planted a mixed lettuce from Baker Creek Seeds, and radishes and cabbage from Korea, seeds given to me by my mother-in-law.

These pics were actually taken a few weeks ago. The plants are actually much larger now. I'll try to get new pics of them up soon. It has gotten below 30 here for quite a few nights. I'm so happy these are withstanding the cold!

Looking good! Paul Wheaton posted a youtube yesterday, there is a new style rocket mass heater you might want to check out. We were looking for a smaller version, we built and rebuilt one and kept cooking ourselves out lol! This new little number looks promising. I have a link on my blog, or just search youtube if you are interested.
I will have to check that out! We have a large rocket heater but I'm afraid it is too large and would just melt the greenhouse! Haha! Thank you, @fishyculture.
Great information my friend i love your green house very carefully protected your plants i liked your half barrel with soil up to block it is great design for have protect completely the plants for have a great harvest, that we hope you collects your food.

Looks great, if you have another barrel paint it black and fill it with water. The sun will heat it during the day providing some warmth at night.

That looks amazing! I love the idea if the barrels up off of the ground. I like that heat can get akl around them.
