We've been hit by a heavy wave as well it's going to be 73 (but feel like 83 with the humidex) today and yesterday was much hotter. It was incredible. All the roses were scorched, and I still can't do a whole lot so I had to just let it be.

It was supposed to rain last night which we hoped would break this heat but no rain yet. The forecast says this afternoon for rain so fingers crossed that it's a nice heavy one and that you get the same relief too!!

My husband's uncle gave him a portable air conditioner and although I really don't like them I'll admit it has been a blessing the past few days. It says that it's 75 in the room we have it in so pretty good. Poor Molly practically just presses up against it like it's her new best friend.
