Papaya Update
Hey guys! Well it's been a week since I did a papaya update, (I know because payout is coming today from the last one)
so I thought I would show you what's going on with the papayas. Seems like a few of the flower buds that were going to be next-in-line to bloom have fallen for some reason or another, but there is another bud that I believe is going to begin in another succession of blooming flowers. That's good news.
First and biggest of the papayas - so far

This looks to be the next-in-line bud to bloom after a few have fallen off before now, you can see the little stems where they've fallen off if you look closely :)

Well, there you have it, Steemians! Hope these suckers get big! I love papayas. Do you? Some people tend to hate them because they omit a foul smell when ripe (the outside does) but the inside is delicious! And that's what counts!

I think in some areas they call papaya "Paw paw" although in Florida the Paw Paw is another fruit.
Here's a sneak peak, poor thing still going strong, gave it a good feed while I was down there.
Wow I've never seen papayas look like that before. I have seen them kind of balloon up, but only after getting much bigger than this.

Hey they look almost there to me. lol Got lots at my house if you ever need more. They pop up everywhere especially in front of my deck where i toss out the seeds. Simply dig a hole, put in the keiki plants a vroom!! So many, I leave lots on the trees for the birds to enjoy.
