OLD BARN № 025

There is a second barn behind this one, with a higher roofline. At first, I thought it was the same building, enlarged from its former size because the trees prevented me from clearly seeing the two buildings as separate. However, an aerial view on Acme Mapper reveals it to be two distinct structures about 50 feet (15 meters) apart. The tree line between the barns and road is clearly visible in the screenshot in below right. In the screenshot from below left, the property is marked amid an area of beautiful woods and fields.

BING maps has a good street view of the property in winter with no leaves on the trees, and also shows the beautiful, old farm house that is on the property:

The aerial views also reveal several other outbuildings on the property, perhaps storage sheds, chicken coops, and such. It would be a wonderful property to explore!

Very rustic... we don't have barns here, and I've always been fascinated with them too!
I love old barns! Looks like a nice piece of property too. I lived in South Carolina long ago and far away for a couple of years. It was a huge culture shock for me, especially coming from Connecticut.
But, getting back to the barn... I love the old rustic ones!

It looks lovely. We still have some old barns in rural areas of Sweden, similar to this one, standing.
That is so cool. I want to do photos of the old, abandoned things, but Scott is not interested in doing them. So, we do other things. That's fine, I can enjoy your photos!

Good to see the barns, that second barn behind #25 was well hidden and the roof line sure blended well. Had you not pointed out the distinction I would have believed it to an elevated portion of #25.
