Man-v-22 foot Beam With No Machines (VIDEO!)
Now that Andrew has finally gotten that huge beam milled...he's got to get it hoisted higher than his head to start the roof of our outdoor kitchen. And since we don't yet have a tractor or another able-bodied person at the moment, he's got to figure out how to do it by himself!

I live by myself so I'm always trying to figure out ways to do things. I'm glad you went over some of the safety aspects of the move. It's bad news if you get hurt when no one is around. Looking forward to the next installment.
Yeah! It can be a challenge for sure. Up until a few days ago, I had my brother with me here, so I always had help lifting stuff. Now it is just me! (I didn't want my wife anywhere near that heavy beam.)

@cpandrei86 follow-for-follow is really not what I do here. I already have a good community here, with homesteading authors who actually thoughtfully read and respond to the articles they comment on. You'll find that Steemit is a lot more worthwhile when you engage, not just follow-beg.
