*Planting Media Preparation

First you have to prepare the planting media and also some of the equipment needed. Prepare several polybags measuring around 30 cm x 40 cm with the amount that matches the onion plant you want to plant. Then for the medium, prepare loose soil, husk charcoal and also manure with a ratio of 1: 1: 1. Prepare 3 gram SP-36 fertilizer and mix it with one teaspoon of furadan for each polybag. After that, mix all the ingredients and put them in the poly bag that you have prepared. Flush with enough water, then let the planting medium for approximately 2 days until it is ready to be used as a planting area

*Planting

After the planting media is ready to use, then you can enter the planting stage which can be done in several ways

-Choose the best healthy and good shallot bulbs.
-Use 3 bulbs of shallots to be planted in each polybag.

• Plant the tubers up to the neck with a spacing of about 5 cm between the tubers.
  -Sirami with enough water.
  -Put the polybags in a sunlit place

*Fertilization

And after the planting period, you have to prepare fertilizer to fertilize the plants so that the plants are more fertile and grow faster and grow. For fertilizer, you can use NPK fertilizer for each polybag of 1 gram. Fertilize by pouring it into plants regularly once a week until the onion plants reach the age of 6 weeks after planting

*Sprinkling

You need to know that red onion plants should not be dry because it will make them die. But it should be noted also that this one plant also cannot live in a pool of water. For that, do watering regularly but not to make a pool around the plant. And in the dry season, you can water one to two times a day.

And after all these steps, you are now entering the harvest stage. You can harvest this onion plant when the plant has the following characteristics

The leaves of the onion plant have turned around 80 percent
The neck of the shallot plant stem is empty or loose. You can confirm it by touching and pressing the stem of the plant.
Red onion pops up or appears above the ground with a reddish color.
