Planting Long Beans in Uncle's Garden
Hello steemian!
today I will share a process of planting long beans in the garden, and incidentally this is my Uncle's garden and I was immediately able to learn to plant with my uncle
The first thing to prepare is the land first. If you have a bed of chili or eggplant or melon, then you don't need to remove it again (although it will be better if the soil is re-blended)
- Seed Planting
The finished beds are then made a planting hole with a depth of only about 5 cm to plant long bean seeds later. Oude bean seeds you should buy at a farm shop in order to obtain superior hybrid seeds. Later this seed does not need to be sown and you can soak it for about 6 hours in 1 liter of water mixed with 10 drops of auxin zpt to spur growth
- installation of drivers
It's good that the driver is immediately installed after the seeds have grown. This is intended to prevent injury to the root area due to pricking.
The function of this app will be as a place for long beans so that the fruit will appear hanging. The material for making stakes can be the most important wood or bamboo to withstand wind and rain. The height of the stake after being cut is at least 180 cm and ideally is 2 meters
- Grass weeding
In the rainy season the grass will also flourish. The presence of thick grass around the planting area can be a hideout for most plant pests. Therefore it is important to do the weeding process
- Long bean harvest
Long beans can be harvested in the age range of 50-60 days. You can do harvest every day. Even if the plants are very productive, you can do the harvest in the morning and evening. Harvested long beans are fruits that are not too old as if we harvest cucumbers. Long beans need a lot of water supply to raise their fruits
We @farms are glad that we came across this post and find it of great importance to this community and sub-community. Thanks for sharing
