The Elderberry Bushes
Here are a couple of pictures of our elderberry bushes. This year we are expecting two to three times the amount we got last year. Last year we were able to make 6 gallons of wine and a gallon jar of dehydrated berries and then at the end we got overrun with them so we just let the birds finish them off. This is these bushes 3rd year producing fruit.

Are you going to sell some of that wine or do you keep it all for self consumption?
We are not able to sell since we live in a dry county plus we don't have a license. Things may change but for now it is a blessing to our family and others when they come over.
I received three cuttings this year that are doing well so far, soon though they will need to get into the ground. Looking forward to growing my own!
