This is an excellent post, lots of practical advice and careful thought from the point of view of someone who hasn't gone very far down this route yet. Very motivational and encouraging for anyone in that situation as you give plenty of tips and reminders on how to manage parts of the journey from that perspective. Your advice keeps returning to the very important process of concentrating on just that one next step needed to get a little bit closer to the ultimate goal, and to avoid being put off by how huge that goal might seem, especially in the early stages.
