Thanks for the more realistic view of homesteading. The homesteading life is too often idolized but it really is alot of work. I find too as I age I have to let this go more and my son has moved off to the city so he isn't there to help plus hubby isn't in the best of health. All that said I never would trade my life for life in the city and I totally love my life in the peaceful county being as self sufficient as we can.
