Unfortunately I think many of us get stuck in certain places in our life, and some of us are lucky enough to work ourselves into a better situation.
Congratulations to you for having the grit and determination to overcome.
I have certainly been more lucky than good in more situations than I can count , but as a good friend says, you make your own luck most of the time. But you can never underestimate the importance of a helping hand.
