TREE RESIN = GLUE OR TORCH

Tree resin has been used for years as a very hard strong glue. Melted down and combined with charcoal from a fire when mixed forms a glue like a cross between a glue stick and super glue when it hardens.

Yes this stuff is real strong, durable and waterproof.

I saw a video by Ray Mears (Again!? I'm always talking about Ray Mears!) He showed how indigenous cultures used to it cement on arrowheads to the arrow shaft. Thanks for sharing!

Yes arrowheads and sealing canoes the uses were many and the cost was zero.
