Homesteading Activity : Recycling Ice Cream Sticks
Summer is a perfect time when most of the people eat ice cream. And so the ice cream sticks are likely to be thrown to the garbage can. In this curation post, I am listing some of the ice cream stick projects that you can make use of at home. I'd love to know if you have tried some of the below projects. This can be done with the help of the sticks and the paper cup. You can turn this into one pen holder or any other stationary item holder. It can be really good to keep some of the items inside the holder. And it should not cost you anything. Just sticks and the glue. That's all you need in such case. I can tell you that stick pen holder seems to be a good option to let your kids try some creative project.

Stick Pens Abacus
Abacus is often something many people keep at home for kids under age of 2. And it can be done using the items at home. Just use the sticks and the wire. And then attach the same using the glue. You can make it fancy by painting the abacus sticks after sticking them. I'd say this project can be done with the kids too. So I'd recommend this if you are planning to do something simple and easy to do.
