Shun Santoku and Harvested White OAK Cutting Board - New Tools In The Kitchen 📷 [MY VIDEO inside]
A Shun Santoku, the knife most chefs will prefer in their kitchen. Sure there are other high end chef knives on the market but the Shun is a name that is well known in the cooking industry and is a step above what you can buy in most normal stores today.
Jaimie turns 40 and so I decided to get her this knife that she really wanted for her kitchen. Plus to top it off, we took a piece of harvested white oak milled on the homestead and her dad planed it down for a new cutting board.
So a new knife and cutting board. What else would a chef and self-proclaimed foodie want for her birthday?

Happy Birthday Jaimie! Wonderful gifts that will be used for many years.
Happy Birthday, Jamie! 40 you say? Don' look a day over 20! Must be all that wholesome living on the homestead. I'm a little jealous over the knife and the cutting board. Actually, that was what got my attention. It is a gorgeous piece of wood made into a wonderful kitchen utensil by loving hands. Enjoy your day, Jamie.
Happy Birthday Jaimie! Seeing as she cooks your meals Zac it's always a good idea to get whatever she wants for the kitchen!!! :-D As for the cutting board, it looks really nice. I'm going to ask again....what does Tim use to plane the wood?
If you get sprayed with pepper juice, use a feather to remove the "spice" from your eye. It works!!
