Homestead Suprises...

When you think you have an empty pen built for a quarantine area incase you come across new animals worth getting or if you get a injured, sick or pregnant animal that needs to be separated. Surprise it is not empty after all. Someone else has moved in and made it their home.

We always try to keep extra cattle panel pens, pallet pens and even electric fence padlocks for any situation that may arise. While I was replacing some old pallets on a hog pen today I found these guys in the empty pen next to me. I'm not a fan of cats and I have had to get rid of a few that was killing chickens but everyone likes kittens.

These guys will need a good home soon.
