IN TIME OF CRISIS GROWING ON YOUR OWN IS VERY CRUCIAL

This month has been a write-off. I have only been down to the plot a handful of times just to check what damage had been done by the storms. Luckily everything is ok. I Have been champing at the bit to start sowing seeds, I have a few packets I got free from grow your own magazine that I will start next month.

My potatoes are chitting and will be going in next month.

If anyone fancy trying to grow some potatoes 🥔 this year, let me know as I have a few spare seed potatoes to give away. You can grow them in a grow bag on a balcony or in the ground if you have space.

I have been enjoying listening to The Dirt; it’s a podcast from Grow Your Own and I enjoy hearing people’s highs and lows, what others are growing this year and also getting some tips for the allotment. It’s worth a listen.
