Barley Sprouts How to take care of.

Here is a little better explanation for how my friend producing barley sprouts for feeding livestock.
He soak 80kg/1.7lbs in a large jar.
Add .25ml of bleach and let sit about 9 hours. Spread that in a 10 by 20 tray.
The room is heated by a wood stove to about 65F.
He isfeeding 3 trays per day.
He run an 11 day cycle.
All watering is done outside.
He spray the trays with bleach water before using.
The seed trays have lines on the bottom that he use to divide up the sprouts when I feed.
Horse get 1/2 tray.
Pigs get 1/6 tray.
This is added to what I normally feed to give them some thing green.
At the end of the 11 day cycle the barley has gone from 1.75 lbs to almost 8 lbs.
