HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE HIT BY THE BIGGEST STORM EVER!

Well on September 10th 2017 that's exactly what happened to us. But wait, it gets even better, it was only two days after we had brought home our fourth child from the hospital.

 The storm was Hurricane Irma  and  she was  bigger than the entire state of Florida  so whether she went left or whether she went right it did not really matter .  Everybody in our state and the other states around us was going to feel  the wrath of Irma . 
 
 Needless to say this was a very stressful and chaotic time in our lives. Fortunately the good Lord above was looking out for our best interest because the eye of the storm shifted West. This meant that instead of getting a massive  destructive blow by the eye of the storm we were only going to receive the outer bands which meant tropical storm type conditions.

 Well they might call it a tropical storm but as I sat up all night staring out the window watching the trees around my house Sway in the Wind, hoping that none of them would snap and fall on my house causing damage or possibly injuring one of my children, I can assure you it did not feel like a tropical storm. It felt like every bit of a major hurricane and I began to worry that I had made the wrong choice to stay and sit it out.

 As the wee hours of the morning approached and the we rays of light began to shine through the storm clouds I ventured out into the yard to survey the damage. Like a kid on Christmas morning excited about what I might find I waited through the flooded backyard and got some amazing footage.
