AWESOME that it worked out! Now you have a new recipe to use for years to come.
Fermenting is such a new technique for me but I am enjoying getting to expand my knowledge.
I had to laugh when I saw the picture of the gin and tonic... at least it worked up your courage to sample your new creation!
Now I need to convince Rebecca to try them. She might go for it if I drain them very well to reduce the slime and present them on a plate without any of the cloudy brine.
It might also help if I make her an Unencumbered - it is a new cocktail that we tried at a restaurant in Staunton. Gin, cucumber, mint, and ice. Served strained into a martini glass garnished with a cucumber slice. There may have been a few drops of lime juice in there, too. It was excellent.
