RE: Popping In To Say Hi After Going Off The Grid

It has been awhile! What are those white berries? They look like white raspberries or something. I haven't seen those before. It is definitely late for corn, but you might have more of a season for it where you are. Up here in Minnesota, farmers couldn't get it in early enough because of the nasty spring and everything is behind.

Good to hear your husband got through that. It can be difficult, with anxeity and depression like that.

Good luck with the baby ducks. They look cute! Even if they did leave you with a straw-reinforced poop-concrete to deal with. I bet that stuff would burn well, if dried out!

The white berries are yellow raspberries but they are pretty pale for yellow. I think they are my favorite variety out of the 20 different types we grew. I wondered how the growing season up north went with all the horrible weather. Here we had summer weather in April then in May and June it was almost winter again. We basically skipped spring.

The "concrete" duck poop has been great fertilizer in the garden. I think I'll dump what hasn't decomposed into my garden beds this winter so I'll have great soil next year.
