I'm Ashamed of Myself

I got some more wood for the fence today but I did nothing with it. Instead I stayed inside and watched things on Amazon video. I'm also working on a crochet project but its going slow.

I've been dealing with some depression. My husband and children have no respect for what I'm trying to do and my husband takes every chance to suggest that I get rid of my animals.

I want to sell this place and get something cheaper. But I don't know if I want to go it alone, take the kids with me or drag them all into a simpler life. Kicking and screaming. Maybe with time they would see the wisdom of what I'm trying to do. Maybe not.

So yeah, today I just wasn't in the mood to do any actual work. I'm ashamed I didn't do anything because it was so nice outside today.

It can be really hard when both partners aren't on the same page when farming or homesteading. It's the sort of thing that can wear you down, for sure.
