WINTER HOMESTEAD UPDATES AND PICTURE EXTRAVAGANZA 😁!!!!
WHAT TO DO IN THE WINTER AT THE HOMESTEAD...
Well to start off, we still have to do all of our regular chores. Including tending to the animals, ensuring the water supply is adequate now, not frozen. Our wood pile for the wood stove has to be kept full to keep us warm. And of course, we do our best to keep the cabin straightened up and up kept.

With the winter, also comes some snow and ice! And who doesn't love to get out on a crisp cool day and play in the snow and on the ice?, We often find ourselves down at the creek playing Icebreaker and skating on the ice. And of course, we are always on the search for ice fairy caverns! And with the latest freeze we found new ones!

HOMEMADE ICE CREAM...WITH HOMEMADE TOPPINGS 🤤🤤
Making homemade ice cream is a day, quick and delicious!!! And only requires three basic ingredients!..half and half milk, vanilla, and a little sugar. You'll also need two bags some rock salt and snow.

WHEN IT'S TOO COLD TO PLAY OUTSIDE....
We love to get creative inside! And this go around, we worked on using acrylic paint and pouring it to make amazing paintings.
*Starting with a blank slate...
*We then mix all the paint colors we want to use with some liquid silicone as it helps with pouring and makes the paint look really amazing.
*Then we just pour puddles onto the canvas.
After the paint is everywhere we want it on the canvas, we use little sticks to move it around, and make patterns snd swirls. This part is really fun and satisfying.
Then we added more paint and went back to making designs with our sticks. After it's all said and done we ended up with these...
