I Tore My Bicep Tendon!

While i was out burning a brush pile on my property, there was a stump that i wanted to get further into the center of the pile where the fire was burning hot.

I reached down and grabbed a root and as soon as i felt the weight of the stump, I felt and heard a big POP! on the inside of the bend of the elbow.

I knew there were no joints in that part of the arm and immediately my arm got real tight. It didn't really hurt at first but after about 10 mins, I told my wife I thought we better head to the hospital.

We spent about 5 hours at the hospital and it appears the bicep tendon pulled from the bone and took a piece of bone with it, no wonder it hurts lol.

I am scheduled to see the orthopedic surgeon on Monday to find out about surgery, in the meantime i am in a sling with ice, ibuprofen and beer for medicinal purposes of coarse.

Don't play with fire kids, lol
