Full-Time Camper Living With Two Kids
Living in a camper is a unique experience.
Living in a camper with two kids is an even more unique experience.
It's also something I didn't think I'd be doing. At least I didn't think we'd be living in one on purpose..... Until my husband received a job offer for a job 3 hours from home, we never thought that we would be living in a camper with our two kids. Nor did we think we'd be doing so while staying sane either.
It's been over a year now.
We've had some good days and some bad days, some stressed days and some fun days, but overall we love how close we all are because of it.
We have a daughter, she's 2.5 years old, and a son, who's 5, and they both love living in a camper and the fact that we're in an area that's wooded.
Our camper is parked in a campground on a military post, so we like to call it a gated community ;). It probably the best place I could ever want to be living in a camper. It's quiet, secluded, wooded, has a lake, is gated, guarded and safe. The safety part is a definite +++++ for us with kids.
In the Spring and Summer we get to pick blackberries, and next year we'll be going on regular nature walks and creating our own little nature journals of plants we're finding and what they can be used for. We'll also be foraging different things so that I can teach them how to make medicines and foods from plants we have around the campground and post.
Recently, we moved to a new campsite that has way more room and I'm pretty excited about it! I'm going to share a few photos of our new site :).
This is my husband cleaning up our new site after we moved to it:
Here is my daughter (in her Halloween outfit) and my son taking a break from cleaning:

And this is the lovely pines we have that I'm going to be making pine cleaner from soon. I'll share with you how I make it in a new post!
I hope you enjoyed a little glimpse into our new area! I'll share more pictures as the winter months turn to spring and the trees start budding and the flowers start blooming <3.
Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas from the Nash Family!
Oh, it looks like an awesome spot! I love how much space there is. Up here in the mountains we are more like sardines because there are small spaces in the valleys...but we still love it :) It is nice to be able to bring home with you though...
There is tons of space where we are, thankfully. Some spots are crammed next to each other though. We waited near 8 months for this one to open up haha. I'm eager to lay our pallets so we can start planning for our little garden area! I'm also going to be growing some medicinal herbs too! Eee!
