Tomato cerry is almost similar to plum tomatoes. But it has a sweeter taste. This little cherry tomato is slightly oval, sweet and contains lots of water. When young the cherry tomatoes are pale green and when it is ripe the color turns orange into shell. Because it has a beautiful shape, like a grape tomato, cherry tomatoes are also usually used as a complement to salad, garnising or eaten fresh.
