RE: Why we decided to home educate (homeschool) our children until they are at least 7 years old!
Thanks! Even though I know how much meditation can help me in a time like this, I somehow still forget to do it more regularly! I really enjoyed your peace and stillness audio, and I found it to be a great duration, so will definitely use that to meditate as well :)
Great to hear my peace and stillness audio is helping you. I have some slightly longer audios on my website that would also be great for meditating to, the 'Floating Audios' are really good for this, you'll probably feel really spacey!
You can flow peace and stillness to your mind throughout the day too, just say:
"Filling my mind with Pure Peace & Stillness"
and you will feel calmer. You may need to say it a few times and take a few deep breaths before you feel the peace flow in.
Doing this stops the stress and mind chatter from building and is great when we're super busy and mediation and time out can get skipped! We can have 'mini time outs' throughout the day! :)
Yes definitely! Just doing it briefly as I read your comment, I can already feel the "nice feelings" hehe :)
I sometimes find it so interesting that the many things we can do to put us in a much better place are so simple and effective, but yet we don't do them (enough). Even just the simple act of deep breathing can do wonders, yet I know for myself, it's not always my instinctive reaction.
Personally, I am always finding myself wanting to commit to good habits (such as deep breathing, meditating, yoga, affirmations, etc), but I somehow seem to find it hard to stay consistent. I will try my best to incorporate what you've suggested into my daily life, maybe a visual reminder will help :)
Thank you!
Yes it's so true that simple things can have a profound positive effect for us, so it is about remembering to do them or do them more!
It's really anyone's instinctive reaction, why is the issue really, we all need rewiring to have these positive reactions! You can try and link it to a feeling and tell your subconscious that you want to deep breath and fill with peace whenever you're feeling stress, anxiety or overwhelm. The more we do this the more it will work for us.
You're welcome! :)
Thanks for the advice, I have been actively reminding myself of this today. I was also led to start listening to The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins just earlier today, so utilizing that and your advice might be the perfect combination for me :)
You're welcome and wonderful that you have some new ways to feel calm and better deal with issues as they crop up :)
😊
