Ways to get money as a homeless person.

#1. Sell blood plasma.
Save a life earn a meal

Its quick, 45 minutes or so on average and you can get about $25-40.

#2. Panhandle
Not fun or easy. Demoralizing. But when you got nothing its a good way to get something.

#3. Free money from the government.
EBT SNAP SSI SSDI GR ETC...
You got to jump through hoops for it but man is it good for you!

#4. Illegal activity.
Don't do it. You go to jail and get bad karma. Lose & lose...

As a homeless the thought of stealing or scaming might sound enticing. But its a very slippery slope and should always be avoided. As a homeless you don't have much, so the thought of having something someone else owns can get to you.

Just remember. You have your freedom. Take someone else's rights or belongings or disobey the law of the land and you risk losing yours.

The fundamental purpose of money as a homeless person is very unique and different from the purpose of money as a person who has a home. As homeless person money is required but it's really not necessary in large quantities.

Now I'm not saying a giant bag of money isn't going to do you good as a homeless person but let's face it a giant bag of money as a homeless person is pretty much out of the question.

The purpose of money when your homeless is to supplement your life. To keep you alive. You will need very little 5 maybe $10 a day maximum. you should avoid big expenditures like spending $80 to stay in the hotel or motel and a $20 meal at a diner.

Saving money is good, but it's hard to save up in any reasonable quantity that would help your situation for example. Getting an apartment would help your situation but that's going to cost you about $3,000. Getting a car would help your situation but that might also cost $3,000. Its just not practical. And it will never really cost $3,000 because you will need to pay another $50 a month on gas or $100 a month just to maintain it. It's better to just to not deal with these types of things when your homeless rather than save money to get this big ticket item and then risk losing them over $100 insurance payment or $50 gas payments.

So the purpose of money when your homeless is not necessarily to save it or get a lot of it. You really just need a little tiny bit of it every now and then to supplement the cost of living.

Like for example you need to buy a razor blade one day to shave or you might need to buy a new pair of shoes because yours have holes in them. You might need to spend a dollar or two to get on the bus or you might need to buy a cup of coffee or tea to warm up in the morning . This is typically how you will spend most of your money as a homeless individual.

Good luck.
