Furnish your bedroom with Feng Shui part 2
Yesterday I promissed you part two of My furnish your springhome with Feng Shui, here it comes.
If you missed yesterdays post you can find it here
The bedroom
In feng shui you talk a lot about the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water. But also about chi, the energy contained in everything and in constant motion. We feel best when chi flows still - neither rushes nor stands still. Which is extra important to consider in the bedroom. Chi moves from the door and out through the windows. So, do you put my bed in that flow, you can expect to sleep anxiously.
Our bedroom should symbolize rest and love and therefore should not be decorated in too strong colors. The room should preferably be in the part of the home that is calm, preferably upstairs where no people can pass by the window. The best side is towards the north side than the sun rises outside the window in the morning and when it's cool in the room in the evening. Colors that may be suitable in a bedroom are those that are close to our skin tones, or even earthy colors, ranging from apricot to brown and moss green. Sharp yellow colors and red should preferably be avoided, because they are too intense colors. However, details in red can enhance the passion. Even a couple of things reinforce the loneliness of the bedroom and paintings with erotic or sensual motives in the bedroom are good for sex life. Other things that have a positive effect are scented light, subdued lighting and wedding photos.
Things to avoid in the bedroom:
~Work-related things like computers, pads, phones or other devices like TV or stereo create stress.
~Avoid mirrors in the bedroom, since you do not want to create a "third person" in the bed.
~Shelves or lamps above the bed "push" on our heads and can cause headache and bad sleep.
~Avoid sharp corners and corners on furniture, such as on the bedside table.
~Shared mattress is also not good, as it symbolizes a shared relationship.
~Family and family photographs have a bad effect on sex life.

Increase sex pleasure with feng shui
~Think of couples, like two similar bedside tables and bedside lamps, it creates togetherness.
~Delete photos of friends and family, but please hang out with you and your partner.
~ Red and pink tones enhance sex life and passion - Bet on details.
~Are you single and only have paintings with single motives? Depressed! Bet on "positive" pictures. You perceive them subconsciously every time you see them.
~ An orchid is sensual, has soft shapes and fits well in the bedroom.
~ Do you want to have it more coasy? Throw out the TV!
