Hi there, enjoy your pin-pricking thoughts, too! I have already said quite a bit (too much) about those disorders, which for me always tie back into Autism, and I go into that I think on Saturday a bit. Feeling my way as I go along, it gets fairly provocative at times and upsets many in the "AS community". But - like you - I feel I have "earned" my stripes....
Nice to know there is a reader who is not "put off" by traditional scriptures. It took me a lot of hard work to become remotely comfortable with them, and my aim is to get others to try something outside their comfort zone too. Like you say, I think it's valuable. So support in the same corner is very welcome.
After reading this post I did go and see the one in which you discussed Autism at greater length.
Not sure who the AS community is?
We both know some knowledge can't really be understood through sharing, but must be experienced and at the same time it delights me to read your words--I find they both resonate and stretch me. Also, I feel affirmed and emboldened to share more of my own experiences.
