Eid Holidays begin from tomorrow

From tomorrow we have a 5 days holiday. As the month of Ramadan ends and the celebration of Eid will happen these holidays are announced in the Country. This is the time we look forward to the most. Twice in year we get these mini vacations during Eid time, One is after the Ramadan which is known as the breaking of the fast and the another one is the Eid al-Adha which is known as the feast of Sacrifice.

We have made some plans for this mini vacation, along with my friends me and hubby plan to do an overnight stay in one of the resorts away from the city. It is a place by the beach side and very beautiful environment. A new Zoo has also opened in the city, which we plan to visit on one of the days. 5 days will pass quickly and it will be time again back for work sooner then we realize.

For this last one month all the restaurants in the Country were shut during the day time due to the fasting, they will once again open up and life will get back to as usual. The whole scene in the Country changes for this one month. It feels like we are transported in some other place and time. After all this is their culture and we need to respect it staying in this Country.

I am eagerly looking forward to this mini break.
