Tenerife traveling (my first holiday) 😎
So.... where do I start?
North Tenerife, Peurto De La cruz, beautiful sea, historical & black sand!
This is by far the best place I’ve visited!
I was lucky enough in 2017 to be taken to this lovely island with my partner.
The views I saw, the people I met honestly blew my mind!
Let me start with the views which I loved the most!
Not only was the hotel beautiful but the staff were out of this world amazing!
San Felipe🌴☀️
Within our stay in Tenerife, by far the most amazing experience was the Loro Parque.
I don’t normally like animal sanctuary’s BUT this one has a huge exception. The care for these animals is wonderful. The infomation that is provided, the love, the space and the happiness for these animals made my heart sink!
Orca whales which had been rescued and injured from fishing nets.. stories on how they have healed and the relationships they have with them.
I know captivity is a sore subject and I myself don’t like it. But the information on these animals and how they are now living a happy healthy safe life. It’s lovely. For someone like me who has never seen something as beautiful as an Orca whale. It was an out of this world experience.
Even when it saturated us!
Other stunning creatures I have seen
I was abit hesitant about the black sand. Because I was certain it would melt my feet on contact... after all black soaks in the heat! 🔥
But it was glorious! A little strange compared to normal sand but I think the black sand adds to the history of the island. Imported just doesn’t seem natural there! ☀️🌴🏝⛱
Remembering these happy memories makes this horrid time a lot better for me and my family. It makes me look forward to the future and grateful for the time I was given to visit the island as well.
☆꧁Bye Tenerife! Until next time꧂☆
