HIVE - A new journey

I haven’t posted in a few months but now that the HIVE fork has taken place I will be moving my blog over to HIVE. I will continue to power down my steem as I do not believe in being censored and is one of the reasons I and many others joined steem.

I feel that many are doing the same because in my opinion many people will start selling steem driving the prices down and I am hoping probably like many of you that you can save your investment and cash out your steem before it gets hurt by a possible large dump in steem.

I was lucky enough to have been able to power most of this accounts sp and cash it out at more than I paid for it but I could take some losses doe to active delegations on other accounts that have months until expiration but I guess all I can do is hope for the best and that the price remains stable until I can convert to liquid steem and sell off my investment funds stake that was used to lease out steem.

On the plus side we have all received equal amounts in HIVE and those leases and accounts will be powered back up so I can continue my operations on HIVE.

Since I am forced to leave some sp here I will try and make the best of it by making sure all my votes are in this week for witnesses so we can have as much power for as long as possible.

I may also leave a tiny bit behind to take a risk on a price pump for my fund to be able to exit with a nice profit but it’s a long shot which is why pretty much anything I can move will be moved as soon as possible.

I will also be restarting active posts about investments and other finance items regularly in the coming month since I am excited about HIVE and makes me want to post again and be active. I may try some double posting for a while just to try and take advantage of earning in both places but my focus will be shifted to HIVE with steem as a possible bonus if it holds its price. Mise we’ll leave a bit on here and try to get double rewards.

I am glad that the community was able to do what they did and actually take back the power I. Order to make this happen and this also gives a lot of attention to both block chains which will hopefully help keep steem prices up with people speculating and give HIVE prices the boost they need and attract a ton of users. This is a chance to take advantage of the publicity we are receiving and for new potential users to find this project and community and hopefully join and contribute which will make all of our new stakes more valuable which will then attract more users. This could be the catalyst that sets the adoption of HIVE in motion as many forgot about steem in the past few years.

Hoping for the best case scenario for all of us where HIVE becomes wildly successful and attracts new users and that steem can maintain its value so no one losses money while they are powering down or if they decide to keep some steem here to use both platforms.

People have put to much work onto the projects here to see the value wiped out and I hope that doesn’t happen!
