My fitness routine for the week ended 22nd September, 2024, Our Emergency public holiday football ⚽⚽ game
Fitness is a way of life. It has also become part of me. I get the motivation most times from my clients because it's all because of them that I must always be out even when I don't feel like one when rain disturbs.
It is a nice business to keep fit and I am getting the testimonies that my clients are really getting what they want in terms of fitness programs and it is really having positive effects on them. What else can I ask for? I can only keep improving myself and learning new ways of helping them out because we are increasingly increasing in numbers day after day.
Last week was one of those weeks that began with much vibes. It was a public holiday due to Muslims' celebration. The government workers were to be home. Taking advantage of that, I quickly announced a football ⚽ game that we will play on that day. The announcement was made before that day. I sort my clients view on it. Below is the screenshot of their responses.

Monday workout/Holiday football game
It was abdominal workout week. So getting to the gym, I started with warmup as usual with those on ground. We did some aerobics too. The we began the abs programs.
The programs for that day was mostly planks and crunches both standing and seating crunches. It was really tough for everyone but we made it to the end of the program. We stretched and started with the football
We had a full house that day as the pictures show. Handling that crowd of not less than 30 wasn't easy. I thank God for the wisdom.
Seeing that we were many, we decided to use the full field unlike other days. Yes, we usually make use of what we call monkey goal posts which is gotten by placing a vehicle tier as the goal post on each of the sides. Then we will set boundaries on the other sides of the football field as per where will mark the outside of where we are using.
But this day, we used the full pitch. We paired ourselves accordingly in two teams of 12 members each including the goal keeper.
Others who didn't want to play left. So e stayed back to watch the game. One acted as our referee while one was our media person with my device. We played 45 minutes game for the first half and 45 for the second half. My team won with 7 goals to 1. Was was
My team is the blue team and we had a resounding victory that threw the other team into confusion. On the overall, my fitness group members were very excited about the football and to see so many members that came at the same time. Though some didn't come around due to some engagements, I am personally pleased to see that number that day.
Wednesday workout/Another football game
I left again to the playground for the day. Getting there, others were there waiting already. We had our warmup programs as well as a little aerobics. Then we began the abdominal exercises in earnest. I always announce in the group for everyone to come with their yoga mat. Not everyone has theirs yet and as such they do cluster on the mat of those that have. I just pray they all get theirs though considering the economy now, it is difficult to buy it. But they need it. Some said that they are planning for it. I can't wait! So many programs that I am supposed to give out that involves mat, I can't due to this limitation.

By 8:15, we began our usual Wednesday soccer ⚽ ⚽ ⚽ . We paired ourselves and used the small goal post because we weren't as much as we were on Monday. The game ended goalless at the end of the full half. And we dismissed.
Friday programs
We went again on Friday for abdominal programs we did russian twist with cones. The cones was 15 each. We are to pick each of them to the other side of the body and return as one set of 4 repetitions.
Then we did the glute bridge, seat up and crunches. We then stretched before dismissal. Remember that we also warmed up before starting the programs. Of course we can't do without it.
Saturday training
This was our Tabata day but I still made sure that the programs were tailored to the abdomen. We used our step boards generously even though it wasn't enough for everyone. Those that couldn't get it used the high steps beside us there. The point is that, we all enjoyed the programs.
We incorporated dances to the program to make it more fun. We later stretched and dismissed
That was all for that week. This week is already in progress. We are seriously working on getting stronger legs.
We will also go for a special fitness program that the fitness community is hosting, the president of the association is the one hosting it. I have been advertising the program on my social media platforms. Below is the banner in case anyone wants to join us this Saturday. We will all move to that place that day.
He sent them to be, inviting my group to be there. It is a free entry program. So everyone is invited come Saturday, 28th September, 2024.
