I'm so excited to take part in this interesting contest organized by @hive-198330 about creating an eye catching book cover and a story that matches with the book cover. For this I will be talking about the The Pain Of An Orphan

My Story

The little Lilith at the age of 6years loose her both was living with her big cousin Vigilia who got married and decided to take her to care for her as her kid sister.
As per her intentions she and her husband took beautifully care of the little girl as she was growing as the elder sister of their children. Lilith also grew considering them as her parents and was feeling at home with them.
Vigilia is a woman who likes business apart of tailoring job so with the aid and encouragement of her husband she open a small store in the quarter beside her tailor shop and the very hardworking Lilith who was already 15 years was the one selling in the store while doing other house choices except when she was in school that her mother Vigilant would
One afternoon when Lilith came back from school to her suprise her mother's shop was open but she wasn't in there and there where customers knocking at the store but no one to attend to them so just opened the gate and attended to the customers before going to change her uniform.

On her way inside she heard her parents arguing about her and she heard her father saying with finality "But all I've saying and bi continue saying is that daughter or sister of yours I don't really care what she is to you but she has to leave my house". Her tried to question him and put some sense but he was hellbent that she has leave his house but finally she was able to convince him to let Lilith get her secondary school certificate since she's very intelligent which means she still had 3 years but with condition that he will not pay her school fees.

When she realized that he was about to leave the room she rushed back to store thank God there was one customer so her father did not realized she eavesdropping.
She pretended as she new nothing and didn't bother to ask anything to her mother even when this woman was encouraging her to work hard.

One day she was driven from school because of school fees and before going to the house she passed through her father's work place and inform him of her situation but he said he was not having money so went home. The next day her mother gave her school fees to give her father that it's what she worked during holidays and she did that but her father sent her to go pay her fees herself and that was how her mother was paying her school till she got her certificate. Her mother tried to provide her school needs and what she new was necessary and her mother will not she will steal money from the store and safe until it can afford what she needs.

During her last year towards her examination her mother while going to the market was a victim of an accident. Even with the intense care given to her she died after tell daughter "Lilith my daughter, this will be the beginning of your suffer but be wise and prayerful then all will be fine, please my daughter don't abandon your younger ones no matter the reasons , be to them the mother that I've always being to you".

Just as her mother said, it was the beginning of her suffer. Her father worn her not enter the store again nor the kitchen so she was deprived of food and his own children where the ones now taking care of it and where ok with what their father was doing to their elder sister and will even insult her. She will always leave the house to visit the neighbors and friends who will give her food after she helped them but when her father returns her younger sisters will report that she wasn't in the house and he would cane her.

The day her results came out that she had passed she was happy but that joy was taken away when her father came at very late already drunk. She opened the door and when he entered he told her " you passed your exam that was the wish it you sister and now you are already a big girl so you can leave my house but before you leave I want something from you". She tried to ask him why he is sending her away and what he wants but he told her he doesn't have any question to answer, she insisted and this time she received a slap and he continued beating her up until he rapped her.

That same night she left the house and no one new where she was until 08 years later she came to visit and present her husband to be to her father and when they arrived the man was in his bed very sick and his daughters were nowhere to be found she took him to the hospital but he died after begging for her forgiveness and not to all his children follow the wrong path.
