All the remaining matches of the IPL postponed due to Corona will now be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to reports, the final match will be played on October 10. A senior BCCI official gave information about this.

"The postponed Indian Premier League will resume interim in the UAE on September 18 or 19, with 10 double headers expected to be played in three weeks," a senior BCCI official said on Tuesday. The final may be held on October 9 or 10. Three weeks' time will be enough to complete the remaining 31 matches of this season.

The sixth season was postponed to the first week of May due to the corona virus. In fact, the BCCI may have to face a loss of about three thousand crore rupees if not restarting the 14th season. That's why BCCI wants to complete the 14th season every year. In view of the current situation, it is not possible to organize the 14th season of IPL in India.

Keeping in view the safety of the players, the BCCI had kept the UAE on priority for organizing the IPL. Last year, the conduct of IPL in the UAE was very successful and not a single case of corona virus was encountered in the entire tournament.

Let me share with you that the 14th season of IPL started from April 9. But after playing 29 matches, many players were found to be Covid positive and the IPL had to be postponed. In the 14th season of the IPL, 31 matches are yet to be held.

According to ECB officials, it will not be difficult to organize 31 matches this time, as they have experience of organizing it last year. In addition, they have enough time to make 100 days of organizing arrangements, although confusion about the T20 World Cup for the ECB can create problems.
