Mohammad Akram Hussain Khan (born November 1, 1986 in Chittagong) is a former Bangladeshi cricketer who represented Bangladesh in six Tests and 44 ODIs from 1996 to 2003. He led Bangladesh in 15 limited overs ODIs. Marquette batsman Akram Khan played for the Chittagong Division team in first-class cricket.He is a smart player of Bangladesh.
Under his leadership Bangladesh team has come a long way. He was a good player.
Akram Khan was in the Bangladesh Test team's opening Test match against India. He has played one-day international cricket since 1986. He developed into an international player under the able guidance of Gazi Ashraf Lipu. He was the captain of Bangladesh cricket team from 1994 to 1996. He is currently serving as a selector for the Bangladesh Cricket Board
