My special moment (my matriculation day)||@vericagr

Hello Steemites, today I am very excited to share with you all my special moment.Also I wish to appreciate our Spanish teacher @daytona475 for organizing this contest. I will like to invite @bossj23, @evershine1, @benton3 to come and participate in this contest

My matriculation day was my special moment, I mean I have been praying for admission into university ever since I graduated from high school and the God finally answer my prayer.

To put it simple gaining admission into any federal university in my country (Nigeria) is not an easy task . The first time I try the tertiary entry examination(Jamb) was a success, what I mean here is that I scored above the average point I needed to be admitted in the University but I wasn't admitted, reasons I did not know, I only guess that maybe my score was not high enough for me to be admitted, so I needed to wait for the next year to try again.

Me not getting admission for my first trial tells me that I needed to score more that what I did the first time.so when the time for the examination come again I needed to do more than my best to stand a chance of scoring higher and behold my result came out with a better score than the last time.

I was full of joy when I saw my result but things didn't go as planned because the time that we should have been given admission into the University,we weren't due to COVID-19 lock down in the country, so I needed to spend another year at home and sometimes I wonder if I will be admitted or not.

But when the lock down was over and school resume I saw my name in the admission list, I was over joy infact words couldn't describe my joy after spending two years at home.

Before I know it our matriculation day draw near and we were given orientation on how we were expected to behalf at school and what we should do and not do at school.

When my matriculation day finally come I know that I have take another step in achieving my dream and that day will mark the day I was fully label a student of the University.
I was happy and that day was a special moment in my life, it was a day that have I will forever remember.
