I am here to share my learnings with my different Boss's which transformed my life and made me a true professional in supply chain management. It's 20years back when I joined my service. A very shy and immature boy I was that time. I remember when first day I joined my office how I was nervous and afraid of boss's reaction as I heard it from my superior friends. At that period of time I don't have much knowledge of office environment and culture. A little exposer of computer was not enough at that time. Anyhow I created confidence in myself and started my life's 1st professional journey. It took one week to safety induction training and other offices protocol learnings which filled some courage in me, really I felt the role of knowledge which I always neglects during my college day. Seriously I realised if I want a great start here,I should must search a co operative mentor for myself. Luckily in cafeteria over coffee session I met Priya madam (name changed as per my organization's policy we can't share over social media anything regarding it's internal matter). She started my training with inducting me in project of her. First I got exposure to advance Excel and MS office , although I have little earlier exposer to this but at professional level I was zero because true quality comes from under pressure jobs, we can't learn anything living with in our comfort zone. After a month I presented the case study in power point very effectively applauded by many superiors, tanked up my confidence and motivated thru her learnings I touched SAP system which is very vast platform needs super speciality. Although I managed and coped all hurdles,studied a lot. I never did hard strike on studies in my college life. Sometimes I frustrated learning these complex transaction codes called T Codes and it's processing processes but her motivational caring kept me on track and after 3- 4 months my 1st Boss called me in his office, who handed me a small project to handle me independently, got stunned how he could I believable for independent in charging projects it was an amazing experience for me. Everyone in my team was very happy seeing my progress and we partyed and celebrated my new project with wine &dine 😊which I can't forget in my life.

Those days of mental trauma and stress are life's lessons to me. I adjusted very hectically, in between my little daughter's birth at that time.I learned Advance MS Excel,Power point presentation,MS Access and SAP (on which my organization runs ) .
During the course of my service I learnt different things like Visual basics and HTML . Tried my hands on JAVA but complexity of it stopped me to move further with it,at that time JAVA programming professionals were in great demand,I always regret, I missed to mastery in this, which would had a turning point in my professional life. A very struggling time I passed but shined back after a lot of painful nights.
As I tasted 5 Boss's till the time 2of them was very demanding and rest were soft going guy's. I have also got an super opportunity to work with President of my organization who was President TQM and Steel Business, it was a golden period of my professional journey.What is Total Quality Management (TQM) I deeply understand with him,when it comes to organisational level in large scale manufacturing industry it's a herculean task to manage sharp edges of TQM. I was managing his calendar and also watching supply chain reports in Tableau on daily basis. One thing I observed with big Boss's they always train their minds to see good in everything in every situation under tremendous pressure from shop floor to Board, they always remain calm under any harshes,finds and innovates new ways forward to bring their organisation on right track. Their LTP's - Long Term Planning is almost accurate and puts a mark on organisational history, which I never forget. Another thing I learned with my Hard boss no it's not good to say them Hard Boss in fact they are super strong Boss's they show how to manage time in perfectly efficient manner.
I remember after overnight journey with a lot of Jet lag and travelling a lot how he managed his Quality of energy, really an admirable thing. A deep insight and sharp focus on the projects makes a lot differences in cut throats scenarios of today's highly competitive corporate world. They maintains quality focus on organisational goal.
There was no chances of rejection of any proposals in Board from my Boss
I have seen and experienced many projects with many Chiefs and Heads of plants in my life and realised only Passion for learning would keep you ahead of time. By the time sails scenarios in professional world changes itself on a greater pace than time . It's our capabilities and responsibilities to focus on those demands at every juncture.
