"Leaves Crafts Contest: plant nursery bag By @rinamps"

in Steem Skillshare2 years ago
Hello steem skillshare community, how are you? I hope that very good.

This is my participation in the @enamul17 contest. As it says in the title, i make a nursery bag for plants with leaves. Originally it was a pencil holder, but when I finished it it was too weak to put the pencils in, so looking for a utility I thought it would serve as a nursery bag, my grandmother is a fan of sowing and transplanting her plants, so it would be useful for her hobby I showed it to him and he loved it.

Use a moriche palm, to which I cut the leaves and chop them in half, removing the edges, as the sheets were short by stapling another leaf and making it longer, in total there would be eight leaves that I would use.

Place four sheets horizontally and four sheets vertically, intertwining them. To support myself, I used a glass container to apply pressure and not deform the frame we had made when I began to intertwine the sheets to make the bag, since that would be the base that would give us the shape we want.

I started by crossing the two leaves in the center and then the one on the sides, so that they would not come undone, I held them with a clamp at the edge of the container, I repeated the process on all three sides, and when I did the last one, what I did was intertwine the sheets one by one. We can see in the images that the leaves go around the glass while we put them above and below the other leaves.

To finish I was pressing the sheets down to cover the spaces and fold up sealing it, in my case I stapled it so it wouldn't be damaged. Since there were gaps at the bottom, I took another leaf cut in half and stuffed it around the bag to cover them.

The final result:

I hope you like it and have made me understand.

Hi, thanks very much.

Ah, it is that I only included the labels that had been placed in the rules.

Woow....this is beautiful. It can be used as a flower vase. I love it. Nice creativity 👍
