Speaking is one of the most vital communication skills. In speaking, you get to know one has I mind and also one is able to express him or herself.
To start with; Self confidence is a major problem for me as far as speaking is concerned,and once a person lacks this very hard to express yourself in public which I do.
I can read and write but how to speak it is out is my problem and Ive been battling with this since growing up.

Nervousness and anxiety are also one of the reasons i cannot speak English language in public or in front of people. I normally feel panic or get nervous and also, I feel uncomfortable and confuse in speaking English Language and communicating in English Language.

Secondly, fear of crowd is also a problem im facing when it comes to speaking. I always feel like I will be laughed at when I voice out my words because I might use the present in place of the past and whenever I look at the crowd around me, I begin to panic and get nervous, mostly in front of people or my class. And sometimes I think it’s the problem of my teachers sometimes because they failed to train us on that.

However, I think lack of grammar is also one of the major problems I face in speaking. Learning English grammar is very difficult for me as a student. In speaking English language mostly, I find difficulties in how place words in the present past tenses. I don’t usually find it easy in differentiating between the difference and how to use the past and present tenses and that makes it difficult for me in speaking English language.

This is because, I grew up in a village and attended a village school which I didn’t get the basics in English Language. Mostly, my basic school English teacher used to sit under a tree whenever he feels like he is tired.
I'm a northerner from Ghana who was colonized by the British and therefore English is not my home language. so being with friends most at times and speaking my local dialect which is Mampruli, has also made me to lack grammar in English language and not fluent in speaking.

Moreover, Shyness is also one of the biggest factors I encounter when speaking English language. It’s a kind of natural feeling in me so I’m not always willing to speak in the mist of people, especially known people.
Otherwise, I have been working very hard to boost all these problems up.

Therefore, I conclude that speaking is the difficulty I face when it comes to English language.
