Graphic Design Student Application

Greetings! I am @christianyocte. I am writing this to officially apply as Graphic Design Student here in this community. I believe that I have knowledge and skills in Graphic Design because this is one of the subjects I learned in Vocational Education and I certainly have used this skill in various areas. But I still want to learn more about it. Thus, I look forward that this student application will be considered.

I am a licensed public high school teacher in the Philippines. I teach Technology and Livelihood Education, one of the courses I teach to my students is Technical Drafting where I use Autodesk AutoCAD. I wish to share my skills in Technical Drafting in this community soon.

Aside from that, I am very interested in visual arts - traditional art, digital art, graphic design, illustration and a lot more. I want to share here my portfolio that I want to refer as my artistic journey! Most of these are works I posted and blogged in Steemit because I have been here since December 2017.

Logo Making

I also want to share the logo that I designed for the youth organizations in our place. These logos are very special to me because I was once an active member and a leader of these organizations when I was still younger. The logo on the left is made using a mobile application that I forgot the name. The one on the right is made using Autocad2016. This one also is enhanced by a colleague in the youth organization.

Why I Want to Learn More About Graphic Design in Steem SkillShare

I want to register because I want to equip myself more with Graphic Design skills that I can use in teaching, business and personal endeavours. I want to learn more softwares that can be utilized in this subject because I know only applications like Procreate, Ibis Paint X and AutoCad. I have trainings in Corel Draw and Photoshop before but, I have not really used this applications for some reasons.

Also, I want to grab the opportunity to learn a very important skill in this era for free! This initiative and program of @atim1234 is really a catch!
