Study long, Study wrong

China wants to have a reserve currency. Without any competition nor the need for them to defend against competitors.

But then you have China that also wants to withdraw from global markets, and depend on the Chinese consumer.

China has not committed to anything silly. Their de-dollarization does not result in them forcing people to ditch the dollar, but them taking in other foreign currency. It is a woo, a subtle promise to back them.

If Russia’s only trade partner is China then so be it. Many countries will benefit globally from the promotion of their own currency as the basis for trade.

The dollar will be strong. How other currencies fare against each other will tell their external case.

The Yuan has an incentive to remain strong. Yet China pouring money into other countries is to extract resources. Not for cheaper labor, as they want to be the only output.

If the Yuan falls against the dollar because it is not being fixed you have to pay more attention to how it fares against the others. It will not spur investments back into China.

China is in a freeze. They do not know which direction. They are considering madness with the help of the Russians.

China could drag their feet all they want. The United States is handling this situation very well by preparing for the end of cooperatives. Sometimes people feel like you're in there way, but if you think it is the other way around. Take the trade.

China does not have a sound global strategy. They are grifting, and doing it with more malice against the United States.
