As naval drills between South Korea and the United States come to a close, North Korea fires eight missiles.
A day after South Korea and the United States concluded up naval operations in the Philippine Sea, North Korea test-fired eight short-range ballistic missiles towards the sea off its east coast.
The missiles were launched from the Sunan area of Pyongyang, according to the Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea.
North Korea conducted its 18th series of missile tests in 2022 alone, including the country's first intercontinental ballistic missile demonstrations in in five years.
