What Is The Biggest Life Lesson You Have Ever Learned?
That nobody really cares but in a positive way
My life changed after knowing about a phenomenon in psychology called The Spotlight Effect
As Cabrini University’s blog states:
This is the phenomenon where people tend to overestimate how much others notice aspects of one’s appearance or behavior.
We tend to feel that people are always taking care of what we do, criticizing us, evaluating us, while in fact, nobody gives a sh*t.
So, tell me, how many times you were willing to do something and the only thing that stopped you was “what will they say about this” or “ how will they see this” and “how will they think of me after”?
How many times do people’s potential opinions stop you from doing things you wanted to do the most?
This is a wake-up call for you to start doing everything you want to, and forget about people completely because no one is all focused on you as you often imagine, everyone is already busy with their lives.
SO GO OUT, LIVE YOUR LIFE.
