Hello steemians how are you. I hope you are doing well and you all are safe and healthy during this pandemic time.
Today I will share with you all the worst day of my life. I never imagined that this day would come in my life. The day when my steemit wallet get hacked and my 3333 steem get stolen. Let me tell you what actually happen. How The day when my efforts in steemit get wasted.
All this happen after I have a small conversation with one of our advance professor in steemcryptoacademy. In summary post of Stream4u professor I was having a small conversation with professor and sapwood sir, that what are the things that we have to focus in steemcryptoacademy and homework posts. I write my verdict and professor and sapwood sir give their reasons and verdict. Soon the conversation ends. But Today morning something really worst happen.
When I woke up in the morning, I open my steemit account and saw that a comment on summary post of Stream4u sir is posted in which it says that I transferred 11 steem to professor with a memo 11/142. And 10 steem to farhmade with a memo don't mess with prof. Then after I saw my history where I found someone stolen my 3333 steem from steemit wallet and transfer it to gateiodeposit exchange.
It's the time where I can't even breath. My hands are shivering and I can't even stand. My steem that I collect after submitting 20+ homework post with quality, presentation and readability got stolen. I can't even think that this day come to my life.
After all this happen I contact few of my friends about what this happen and how to solve this problem. But it's a case of hacking and no body can help me in this. My blood pressure reach 196, 89 with pulse 102. It was something around 1 lakh + indian rupees that get stolen.
But after all this happen to me I only want to know, who, why and how ?
Who stole my steem from steemit wallet?
Why they stole my steem, what are they trying to proof?
After so much security how this happen to me in steemit ?
We all know that steemit is a decentralised platform and is highly secured. But How this happen that someone found my keys and stole my steem from steemit wallet? No body know how this happen.
Second thing, I don't know who is so much in debth, who stole my 3333 steem and left around 330+ steem. If you really a hacker and want to proof something to this community than why you leave 330+ steem for me. Brother/sister who so ever stole my steem I want to let you know that I have so muh potential and I am so courageous that I will recover all my steem very soon with my potential. You carry onn with your small mind work may God give you potential to work hard and make money.
Third thing, If steemit community is so much secured then how my wallet get hacked? We all are together fighting against plagiarism, spammers, Racism to make this community best. But how to secure our wallet from hackers this is also a main concern. If we don't focus on such things how we can make this community more powerful and reliable.
Today this happen to me, tomorrow this may happen to you but can't do anything against it because of decentralised nature. We don't know who stole our steem. The only thing we know is the history that our steem is transferred to some XYZ exchange.
If we have to make this community more powerful we have to fight against hacking together. We can use saving account and exchange to collect our steem but we also have to focus on liquid steem that get stolen so easily. How to make keys more powerful so it doesn't get stole.
Message for hacker:
With due respect, My friend XYZ hacker, if you read this post and have some shame then we can crack a deal. simply give my 50-60% steem back to my account and try to show your potential in positive work in steemit community.

Hackers can be identified if exchanges support users. Because every exchange follows KYC (Know Your Client) procedures. You should file an FIR with your local Cyber Crime office. May you get some help from the legal department. There should be some recovery options on steemit in such cases. Have you tried to reset your all keys with your master key?
Yes I have already done resetting my I master key and other private keys. Yesterday, eye contact with the customer care service of gate.io. they are working on my complaint. But the procedure is so slow that I can't even tell you. It is such a big robbery and they are not taking fast movement. I contact them several times and they replied tech team is working on it. Today I got a mail it says that they are investigating the issue. Hope everything get normal soon.

Oh god it's too horrible this platform is not also so save we always learn in homework about Dapps but this Dapps are so useless I will hope that theif will R.I.P in 1-2 days god will give him/her a further life with them and then all the steem he/she stole will left on planet earth what about the people of steemit and other we and all who got hacked will recover all amount very soon.
True... We don't know how to secure ourself from this horrible incidents. Hope technical team work on it and make our platform more secure.
It's horrible and shocking.. your hardwork, endless hours of hardwork, cracking yourself infront of screen for this.. that one day some stupid psycho hack our accounts and live life peacefully.
It's too much 3333 steems is not a joke. We all want the thief to be caught.
True @kajalbitoni di, Everyone knows how much time it takes to do homework and edit its screen shots.Sometimes I used to do homework till 4 in the morning but now all the reward of that hard work is gone. Hope this will end soon in this blockchain community. Hackers should also work hard to make money. Anyone can steal but can't earn. Thankyou so much for your comment.

Please change your Key auths immediately! If your wallet is compromised, that is the first thing that you should be doing.
In the blockchain world, your keys are only as secure as you store them. If you had them in your email, whenever your email got hacked, you lost your private keys as well. If you had on your local computer, any attacker who has access to it also has access to your keys.
At this moment, it's impossible to say how exactly your keys were compromised. Let me know if you came across any phishing comments/posts lately.
Yes, @starlord ..even I don't know how my keys get compromised. All the keys are secured to a place where no one can reach. But I still don't know how this happen to me.

When I saw comment by professor about this unwanted transaction. At that time only I changed my keys.
I really feel sad for you. It's a very very costly event for sure.

Dear @starlord28, I think we can make a search with @gateiodeposit account, how many times this memo has been used and which are the other accounts that used the same memo to transfer STEEM.
Utsav-- I think you have already changed the password, never ever used Master Password, never keep your keys online, and always make use of the saving account, in that case, you still have 3 days time to quickly act and regain control of your account in such an event.

Oh my god..!! This is rediculous why we all are doing so much hardwork here if we get all steem stolen by someone 1 lakh is big amount and moreover it's from your hard work .. I want to ask steemit always make us learn about the palagrism 1,2,3,4 and all achievements and all where is the security lesson and what is your responsibility towards this if you caught palagrism so soon don't you have a team to caught this phishing activities as well @starlord and @sapwood please help this person I am feeling really bad for him

We learn how safe these Decentralized platforms are but after this type of illegal activity it is nearly impossible to retrieve the information of hacker, I think there must be a solution for this, the hacker used a new kind of exchange that was gate.io which is rarely used in india, @gateiodeposit if you are reading this you must help him @utsavsaxena11 in retrieving his hacked steem tokens back to him. The memo used in this transaction is
"005fbf7f069830d2" and that is a memo for a exchange called gate.io and the transaction ID is "4c4223d0bd0e1b89f2db4e2fe4a3a10e6003741c" , If someone can help utsav in any way using this info, most welcome to you, If hacker is reading this you are requested to send back all the steem tokens that you have stole from utsav's wallet, that would be a kind work from your side.

My dear hacker, everyone is giving you so much respect that you don't deserve. I am also requesting you to give my steem back. Invest your time in positive work for steemit community. Learn academy lectures or if you want to use hacking than use it for ensuring security not for your Theft job.
This is the worst situation and I know how it feels. In last month my friend @duckling also leave the steemit because she lost her 8 SBD because of hacking. This is the worst situation when someone is hacked wallet and stole our steem and sbd.
True....we can't even imagine that this day will come to our life and hit so badly.
Did you clicked on any link that is suspicious? Try to find out if you have clicked on any website link and given your keys over there. Otherwise it is hard that something like this could happen. But yeah I will keep an eye on this so that maybe I can learn something new and protect my own self along the way. Keep us updated on this.

No I did not click on any links. I know many times our comment section is filled with some unwanted links. But I am sure that I had never click on those links. Also I didn't use my active key anywhere. The only thing that I do with the active key is conversion of SBD to steem. That all.
Thank you so much for reading my post. The main aim of my post is to aware other people also to stay away from such hackers and make sure that our safety in our hand. It happened to me but I don't want anyone else to get trap in such situations.
@utsavsaxena11, I can understand your mental situation because I also went through the phising. It's really hurts. I wish these people should caught up by the engineers working behind this blockchain.
