Deposit and Withdraw TRC20 USDC in Huobi with zero withdrawl fees!
TRC20 USDT withdrawal costs you 1 USDT in Huobi, right?
Huobi now has listed TRC20 USDC and the withdrawal fee for TRC20 USDC is zero until 22nd April 2022.
But how does it benefit me as I trade mostly in the USDT market and most of the popular coins are available in the USDT market?
Well, if you are trading and withdrawing anything below 500 USDT, then it's certainly going to be cost-effective.
If we consider the flat trading fees of 0.2% at the basic level, and if you trade 500 USDT worth crypto assets, then it's going to cost you 1 USDT trading fees and 1 USDT withdrawal fees in case you chose to withdraw TRC20 USDT.
Total fees= 1(trading)+1(withdrawal)= 2 USDT
So what if I trade 500 USDT worth of crypto assets in the USDT market first and then I swap my USDT to USDC. I will have to pay the trading fees twice here. So it will be 1+1= 2 USDT in total and then I can withdraw TRC20 USDC with zero withdrawal fees.
Total fees= 2(trading)+0(withdrawal)= 2 USDT
So 500 USDT worth trading and withdrawing is the breakeven point for both USDT and USDC. Unless you have a specific requirement with USDC, anything above 500 USDT is not going to save you fees, if primarily you are looking at moving the assets from one exchange to the other cost-effectively.
But anything below 500 USDT worth of trading and withdrawing in USDC saves you more than USDT.
I have calculated and tabulated the net saving with USDC withdrawal for an amount below 500 USDT.
There is also a promotion going on with a 30000 USDC prize pool in Huobi. The users can simply deposit TRC20 USDC and stand a chance to win a share from the 30000 USD prize pool based on NET DEPOSIT VOLUMES.
