The greatest asset of any country are the sustainable use of its natural resources.

It is not the GDP which does not consider the loss of natural resources. GDP is a very short to medium term euphoria. If the natural resources are depleted,the GDP would eventually have to fall.

This image shows how a household in rural india uses it's natural resources for their needs. The stone grinder is made locally as well as the mat which is weaved from reeds and plants.

These innovations and sustenance do not seem to have any place in the GDP of the country.
